Feed Direct now provides the free newsfeeds previously available from Moreover.com. The newsfeeds are basically the same (although the
customization has been streamlined a bit). The main difference is that the feeds now include 1 text ad at the top, related
to the subject. Feed Direct obtains the ads from Google. You don't get a cut of the ad revenue, but you get a good free newsfeed.
Unfortunately the feeds have more repeated headlines (the same AP or Reuters story from different "sources") than one would
like.
News 4 Sites currently has 119 javascript newsfeeds to choose from. The appearance is user-configurable, and the feeds are also available
in other formats (RSS, PHP, ASP...). They look good. |
